Morning Worship is at 10:00 a.m.

Jesus calls us to “make disciples”, and we’re trying…with small groups, worship, adult education programs, Church School, sermons, and midweek programs…just to name a few. Discipleship is an assignment from Jesus himself. Yet how many of us participate in an intentional disciple-making program? For most of us it’s a Bible study class here and a topical discussion group there. What we need is what Dallas Willard in his book, The Divine Conspiracy, calls “a curriculum for Christ-likeness”.

As you prayerfully contemplate your support and participation the Council asks that you acknowledge the importance of putting your faith into action as a “way of life.” It is important to have all adults attend our “Walk On” classes to set an example for our children. Parents are especially encouraged to come to the “Walk On” classes when they bring their children for Church School. “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6) In other words, point your children in the right direction and . . . Lead by Example.

Our church Council is called and committed to the spiritual growth and development of our congregation and recognizes that participation is foundational to this process. For this reason, the Council seeks your support and affirmation through your active participation in education and worship.
